Week 6

Having resources available that focuses on learning disabilities could be helpful in providing

additional information to parents/guardians of children who have learning disabilities and are not sure

where to look.  If a parent has a concerns that there child may have a learning disability but is not

sure who to go to for their child to be assessed, online resources could help point parents to the right

direction. Online resources also allows information to be readily available rather than having to meet

face to face with a therapist or doctor constantly.

These online sources also can be helpful for teachers who teach students with learning disabilities in

a sense that it could be provide additional information and material to make sure that students are

learning at their developmental level and feeling comfortable while doing so.   It can also help

educate teachers who may not have much experience working with children with learning disabilities

and want to have more knowledge on how to approach on helping students with those needs in the

future.
